Parent vs. kid battles

More screen time? Let them beat you.

Seven quick live games, each on their own phone. The stakes: screen minutes… or a forfeit.

  • Rock paper scissors

The big classic, best of three rounds.

  • Connect 4

Line up four tokens before the other one does.

  • Snake

90 seconds head to head: the longest snake wins.

  • Quiz and home quiz

Our questions… and yours, by theme: “Where were we this summer?”

  • Mental math

The same sums for both, 5, 10 or 15 seconds each.

  • Blitz chess

    A real game, 1, 3 or 5 minutes each.

  • Knowledge duel

Everyone gets questions at their level: you don't win every time.

  • Minutes or a forfeit

If they beat an adult, they win the planned minutes. If they lose, they get a forfeit.

  • The forfeit becomes a mission

They do it, send a photo, you approve. If not: a 5 to 30 minute penalty.

  • One rematch, not ten

One rematch, then the decider if it's a tie. Then on to something else.

  • The home score

Every game won earns a point, siblings included.

  • The Sunday champion

Sunday night, the whole family finds out the champion of the week and their reward.
